The Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, in Canada, is renowned for the immense artistic talent of its people from Hollywood actors to artists, craft-masters, and filmmakers known around the world. Add to it the music of traditional and contemporary performers you will find songwriter, composer and performing artist, ElizaBeth Hill.

The roots of her music have grown in traditional country, and been schooled in the Nashville songwriting scene for more than a decade, and is steeped for a lifetime in her Iroquoian culture.

Her passion for World Indigenous music and her long love of traditional country music have created an interesting blend of sound presented in her own contemporary Native American style.

Album Notes

Too Long Away is a blend of original songs written and often performed by ElizaBeth, but which have never been recorded until now. This CD has her usual combination of lyric writing spanning love songs to songs of her Native American lifestyle – with the pleasant surprise of musical arrangements that lift her most arresting vocals into a sweet mix of traditional yet bluesy country, and folk.
